Another Fantastic Clan Blair Society Trip !

NOTICE: The dates for the next Clan Blair Society Scotland trip are August 22nd to September 5th, 2006. This is the final itinerary. Look it over to see what you have missed. A grand trip, I'm sure!

August

Tuesday 22:- Depart USA for overnight flight to Edinburgh. Suggest Continental Airlines direct to Edinburgh from Newark.

Wednesday 23:- Arrive Edinburgh circa 0830 hrs. Days programme to be arranged in Edinburgh any suggestions welcome.

Thursday 24:- Whole day tour to East Lothian area including Roslyn Chapel (Highspot of " Da Vinci Code ") Return to hotel in late afternoon then Tattoo in evening. Performance starts 21.00hrs

Friday 25:- Depart Edinburgh for whole day tour to Scottish Borders, finishing in Peebles Hydro Hotel or Dryburgh Abbey Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Saturday 26 :- Depart borders in morning and travel through to Ayr visiting either Burns Heritage Centre and/or Culzean Castle.Check in hotel late afternoon thence to Blairquhan for dinner and visit. Return to hotel for overnight.

Sunday 27 :- Whole day tour to Arran return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Monday 28 :- Depart hotel for Dalgarven Mill and St Margarets Church Dalry. Continue on To Blair House in time for lunch. Then dinner and overnight.

Tuesday 29 :- Depart Blair House visit Weavers Cottage Museum then by Erskine Bridge and Loch Lomond to Arrochar. Rest and Be Thankful, Inverary then Loch Awe and Kilchurn Castle to Oban for dinner and overnight

Wednesday 30:- Depart Oban For Lochnell House visit. Continue on to Forest Hills Hotel for dinner and overnight

Thursday 31 :- Depart hotel for morning cruise on Loch Katrine. After cruise continue via Callendar and Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument to Blairgowrie for next four nights.

September 2006
Friday 01 :- Depart Blairgowrie for visit to Ardblair Castle, then on to Perth for Scone Palace visit. Return to Blairgowrie via Balthayock House

Saturday 02 :- Depart Blairgowrie for whole day excursion to Braemar Games return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Sunday 03 :- Whole day to Blairgowrie Games Returning to hotel in evening for Blair Dinner with invited guests.

Monday 04 :- Depart Blairgowrie for Edinburgh. Visit with Robin Blair Lord Lyon King of Arms

Tuesday 05 :- Transfer to Edinburgh Airport for return flight to USA
