Annual General Meeting

Each year, the Clan Blair Society holds an Annual General Meeting at a location within the United States. On occasion, it has been held elsewhere, such as in Scotland. The location is alternated between East of the Mississippi and West of the Mississippi each year, and held in conjunction with a Scottish Highland Festival.

The base purpose of the annual meeting is to satisfy our by-laws regarding the meeting of leadership and membership. This meeting gives the society the opportunity to gather as many of our leadership in one spot as possible. Typically, the society board meeting is held to discuss the state of the society and all new and old business. Goals for the coming year are decided upon and many times, representatives from the clan are appointed to help lead projects.
